About the job
Do you want to lead a KKFO where strong communities, leisure-time pedagogy and children's perspectives are the focus?
We are seeking a new leader for our KKFO who wants to take responsibility for the continued development of our KKFO and be part of the school's overall management at Skolen ved Sundet.
We are looking for a leader who can be close to everyday life while also looking at the long term. A leader whom employees experience as trust-building, clear and approachable, even when the task is difficult. And a leader who wants to lead a skilled and engaged team of staff and, together with them, create even better conditions for the children.
A KKFO with strong communities
At Skolen ved Sundet, the leisure part is an important part of the children's school life. Here there should be room for play, immersion, friendships, creativity, movement and just being a child.
We strive for every child to feel part of the community, and we are focused on how our pedagogical practice can create opportunities for participation for children with different needs.
As KKFO leader you will become a central part of this work. You will work with the staff to develop the leisure-pedagogical practice and create a daily life where children are met by attentive adults, clear frameworks and good opportunities to unfold themselves.
We believe that good leadership starts with good relationships. Therefore you must be close to the staff, the children and daily practice – while also being able to lift your gaze and create direction.
You will become part of the school's overall leadership
As KKFO leader you will become part of the school's management team, where we collaborate to create good conditions for both children and staff. We work closely across school and KKFO because we believe that children experience one cohesive daily life when the adults around them work in the same direction.
In the management team we place emphasis on openness, sparring and an informal working environment. We are curious about each other's perspectives, and we expect that one can bring themselves and their professional skills into play and be open to being challenged.
You will also have close collaboration with the KKFO staff and with the school's other leaders and professional groups. It requires that you can move confidently between daily operations, pedagogical development and the many collaborative relationships that make a large school and KKFO function.
We are looking for you
We envisage that you have an educational background and a desire for leadership – and that you are motivated to make a difference close to children and staff.
You are a leader that staff want to approach. You can listen, ask questions and provide qualified sparring, so that staff feel strengthened in their tasks. You can also make decisions, cut through when necessary, and at the same time hold on to the things that are already working well.
You are reflective, curious and informal. You have a desire for professional development and inspire others to be curious about their own practice. Perhaps you have experience with special education – that is an advantage, but most important is that you want to understand the needs of different children and help create participation opportunities for all.
In addition, you should like that leadership also includes operations. You have a flair for IT systems and administrative tasks, work in a systematic and structured way and follow tasks through to the end.
We do not expect you to know everything from day one. Instead, we expect you to want to learn, ask questions and develop yourself together with us.
A daily life with both people, pedagogy and operations
As KKFO leader you will have responsibility for the daily management and for the continued development of the KKFO. You will, among other things, work with the leisure-pedagogical strategy and practice, staff professional development and working environment, as well as daily coordination. You will also be responsible for finances, administration and operations.
An important part of the job is to create coherence between the KKFO's everyday life and the school's other pedagogical work. Therefore you should be keen to collaborate closely with teachers, educators, leaders and other professional groups.
We emphasize that you can work independently and at the same time see the value of succeeding together with others.
What you get with us
You will become part of a workplace with engaged staff, a strong professional ethos and a daily life where there is never a long way from idea to action. You will have the opportunity to influence the KKFO's further development and help shape the direction for an important part of the children's everyday life.
You will have colleagues in the school's management team who believe in sparring, collaboration and in becoming better when we share our perspectives. And you will have a workplace where we take our tasks seriously and believe there should be room for humor, curiosity and a good laugh in daily life.
Would you like to be our new KKFO leader?
If you can see yourself in a leadership role where relationships, professionalism, clarity and development go hand in hand, we would very much like to hear from you.
Salary and terms of employment
