Class teacher for 2nd grade at Kristofferskolen

Kristofferskolen is a free school that is built on Rudolf Steiner's educational principles. Here art, crafts and academic skills are combined in an inspiring teaching. Our school is located in the green surroundings in Trekroner near Roskilde.

We strive for a sustainable and inclusive everyday life, where with joy and engagement we shape the pupils into independent, responsible and initiative-taking people. The school has about 270 pupils from kindergarten to 9th grade, as well as its own SFO (after-school care) and club.

We are seeking an engaged class teacher for our 2nd grade. You will become an important adult for a wonderful and lively group of children who meet the school day with curiosity, energy and different ways of being in the world. The class needs a teacher who wants to get to know the children well, foster community and create a safe and recognizable everyday life with clear boundaries.

We thus hope to find a teacher who can stand securely in the classroom and meet the children with warmth, humor and presence, and who sees relationship work as a natural part of good teaching.

This is a position of approx. 80% that includes the class teacher function in 2nd grade as well as teaching in relevant subjects by agreement.

Start date: December 1.
