  • An extremely autonomous and exciting job with varied tasks and high professional content
  • Thorough training in your duties
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with the hospital's healthcare staff and with the clinical pharmaconomists and pharmacists at the Hospital Pharmacy.

We expect you to be a trained pharmaconomist

If you have previous experience with medication service and clinical pharmacy, that is a plus, but not a prerequisite for the employment, as we are ready to give you a good introduction and training from day one.

In addition, we value that you

  • Possess extensive and broad pharmacological knowledge
  • Have good communication and dissemination skills
  • Are proactive, service-oriented and responsible
  • Have the ability and desire to work independently, systematically and purposefully
  • Have drive, a good mood and good physical health
  • Like to have contact with patients from different patient groups

  • Are flexible, reliable and open to working at other times

Hospital Pharmacy's tasks for clinical pharmaconomists

As a hospital pharmacy, one of our important tasks is to deliver services such as medication service to hospitals, hospices and Psychiatry in Region Zealand.

Medication service is a contract-based service, where we as the hospital pharmacy enter into agreements with the departments to carry out tasks on their behalf. In medication service we take care of stock management of the medicine room, expiry date control and disposal of medicines.

We also perform a review of the inpatients' medication orders and engage in multidisciplinary dialogue with the wards' staff about this. We are available for medication-related questions and inquiries from the departments.

In dispensing and administration of medicines, our tasks include stocking and dispensing medicines to inpatients as well as assisting with the dispensing of medicines at discharge.

Dispensing medicines takes place in close collaboration with the department's doctors and nurses and is continuously adapted so that we as pharmaconomists contribute our expertise in the best possible way and, for example, help ensure greater compliance and fewer unintended events.

When administering medicines you come close to the patient and it is essential that you enjoy interacting with patients.

In taking medication histories our tasks include preparing an overview of the patient's current medical treatment. We perform this task in our emergency department.

You work very independently, but with your colleagues within reach. In the team we help each other, so both the quality of our service and our teamwork are top.
