Klub VIKA is looking for a new employee (35 hours)

Would you like to work with children and young people and help create a leisure and junior club that they want to come to?

Club VIKA is seeking a new employee for our leisure and junior club for children and young people aged 10-14.

For us, the most important thing is that you want to work with children and young people, can build good relationships and have something to contribute to a lively club daily.

Club VIKA is part of Fritidscenter Brønshøj-Husum. We work to create an attractive leisure offer with good communities, attentive adults and different learning environments, where children and young people can be active, creative, curious and gain new experiences.

What can you contribute?

Maybe you have a particular interest or something you are really good at, which could become exciting activities together with the children.

It could be cooking, sport, music, gaming, creativity, crafts, technology, outdoor life or something completely different.

We have not predefined what you will be responsible for. We would rather be curious about who you are and what you can bring with you.

It may also be that you don't come with a specific specialty, but instead are really good at building relationships, spotting the children and helping to create a safe and fun everyday life in the club. That is at least as important to us.

We imagine that you

• want to work with children and young people aged 10-14
• are present, engaged and responsible
• can build good relationships with different children and young people
• want to take initiative and start activities
• can both lead planned activities and be present in the regular club life
• can collaborate with colleagues to create good learning environments and communities
• are curious about children's and young people's interests and ideas

A pedagogical education is an advantage, but not a requirement. You may also have experience from, for example, clubs, school, associations, sport or other settings with children and young people. The most important is that you can see yourself in the work and want to contribute.

About the position

The position is 35 hours per week on a yearly norm.

The working hours are primarily in the afternoon hours, and you should expect at least one evening shift per week until 20:00 as well as participation in arrangements, trips and camps outside the ordinary opening hours.

You will become part of a club where there is an opportunity to influence both activities, learning environments and the continued development of our offer.
