Club educator for gaming and sport

Cassiopeia Club seeks a qualified school and after-school educator who is passionate about relationship work through e-sports, gaming, sports and play

We are looking for a qualified school educator who is passionate about working with children/young people through gaming, sports and play. The position is 34 hours a week, with a latest start date of December 1, 2026.

Cassiopeia is a large leisure and youth club in Frederiksberg Municipality with good

physical facilities spread over 3 floors and an outdoor area. We are a large house with 25 employees, which gives us the opportunity to work with many different pedagogical tasks while maintaining a high professional level. There is a high ceiling and a “no” is rarely used.

At Cassiopeia, the children and pedagogy always come first, so you do not need to be an expert in computer games, 3D design or rounders. However, you must be able to see the pedagogical possibilities in a digital and physical learning space and how it can pave the way to relationships. In Frederiksberg we introduced new screen principles in 2024, which are the principles we also work from throughout the club.

For us, the most important task for the educator is to work with social learning, relationships, resilience

and formation. We do this through our daily activities, such as sport & play, theatre, e-sports, equestrian activities, role-playing, music and creative workshops, which are a fixed part of the club’s culture and offerings. You will primarily have your pedagogical role in our media team, but as a club it means a lot to us that you are part of the entire building and have the opportunity to challenge your relationships in other workshops.

Since Cassiopeia is a club with a very large number of children and young people, inclusion, community, relationships and formation are key concepts in the pedagogical work. Openness, flexibility and collaboration are a prerequisite for success.

As an employee at Cassiopeia, you are also part of Lindevang School, and you will therefore alternate between two workplaces. At the school, you will play an important role in the general education, where you will work based on co-teaching principles in collaboration with the teaching team.

• That you are a qualified pedagogue or have another relevant education.
• Ability to adapt and relate to two workplaces in a busy everyday life.

It can be an advantage if

• You have experience with and an interest in Media, Gaming, sport and play, etc.
• You can create pedagogical processes and relationships through both physical and media activities .

Working hours will primarily be club time with one evening shift per week. There will also be weekend work in connection with camps, trips, etc.
