Kitchen assistant at Børnehuset Badutski (16 hours per week)

We are looking for an engaged and stable kitchen helper for 16 hours per week for our department on Matthæusgade.

You will become an important part of our kitchen and have a central role in ensuring that the practical tasks around the kitchen's daily operation are solved. This is a position for you who thrives with practical tasks, can work independently and at the same time appreciates being part of a work community.

About us

Badutski Childcare is an integrated day care institution with 142 children spread over two sites. The position is for our department on Oehlenschlægersgade, where there are about 70 children daily aged 0.5-6 years and an engaged staff group.

For us, the kitchen is an important part of everyday life. Meals are a central part of the children's day, and we emphasise that the children receive good, healthy and varied meals in cosy surroundings.

You will work closely with our kitchen staff and help ensure that the kitchen is clean, tidy and functioning well, and that the practical tasks around meals are completed.

It is not a requirement that you have a kitchen-related education. The most important thing is that you are keen on the tasks, take responsibility and have a positive approach to both children, colleagues and your workday.

Your tasks

Your primary tasks will include

• washing up and tidying
• receiving goods and handling deliveries
• cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen areas
• preparation and tidying up in connection with meals
• assistance with practical tasks around daily food production
• sorting and handling of waste
• other assorted practical tasks in the kitchen

You will have a daily routine where you work independently with your own tasks and collaborate closely with the other kitchen staff.

Terms of employment

The position is tied to a grant for personal assistance and is therefore dependent on the basis for personal assistance continuing to exist. The employment will thus be valid as long as this condition is met.

The position is for 16 hours per week with start preferably on 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
