About the job

30 hours per week | Working hours 7–13 | Monday–Friday | Free on weekends and holidays Do you enjoy making good, homemade food – and would you like to be part of people’s everyday life?

Imagine a workday that begins while the forest wakes up.

You start at 7 o’clock and begin the day together with your colleagues in the cooking group. Here you help a couple of the house residents to get up, get ready for the day and find calm in the morning routines.

It’s not about rushing on to the next task. It’s about being present, creating a good start to the day and helping the residents along.

At 9 o’clock you leave the group and go into the kitchen.

Here await today’s kitchen tasks. You pull out ingredients, plan the day’s work and start by preparing lunch for the house. You ensure that the food is appealing, tasty and ready for those who will eat it.

The kitchen is in the middle of the house, so you are close to both residents and colleagues. Perhaps a colleague passes by with a question, or a resident looks in curiously while you work.

You are responsible for your own tasks, but you are never outside the community.

It’s not just a job in a kitchen. It’s a workday where care, food and community go hand in hand.

You help give the residents a good start to the day – and help create meals they can look forward to.

You in the residents’ home. A part of life in the forest.
