About the job

Are you passionate about working with data, dissemination, continuing education opportunities for practicing physicians and practice staff, political agendas – and are you interested in general practice?

So you are the person we are looking for in the Quality Directorate staff.

We are a multidisciplinary team in Region Midtjylland, working with quality development in and for general practice – and everything that goes with it. With us you will have the opportunity to translate your theoretical knowledge into practical experience on current projects and at the same time gain unique insight into the practice area.

We are not afraid to give you responsibility, but of course with good guidance

In the Quality Directorate we work to create positive development of quality in general practice through our efforts and projects across the region.

We support implementation through

  • data
  • continuing education
  • organizational development
  • pharmaceutical counseling
  • cluster packages – and much more.

To achieve our goals we work closely with medical consultants and other departments in the region. We also participate in networks with employees in other regions, where through collaboration we create relevant and current offerings.

The office's 15 employees and 23 affiliated medical consultants from general practice form part of the Practice Quality Unit MidtKraft.

Our offer to you

As an intern with us you will have the opportunity to participate in exciting and challenging tasks that bring the distance between theory and practice much shorter.

Your tasks may include

  • analyze and disseminate complex data from general practice, e.g., to the cluster area.
  • develop offerings and materials for general practice.
  • prepare agenda points and minutes for meeting forums.
  • contribute to communications aimed at the practice area.
  • participate in work on one of our focus areas: Health Equity.
  • contribute to evaluations of projects and initiatives.

We tailor the internship program to your interests and wishes, so you get the most out of the stay.

Your opportunities with us

  • An exciting and interdisciplinary internship in collaboration with various consultants and actors in the health service.
  • Access to a dedicated internship supervisor who provides sparring and support.
  • Insight into the region's practice area and strategic quality work.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of work from home
  • A professionally challenging environment with friendly, open colleagues and an informal tone.
  • Opportunity to join an intern network at the Regional House.
  • Possibly a visit to general practice – a unique insight into everyday life and work.

About you

  • You are a graduate student with a social sciences background, e.g., public health, political science, sociology, social studies, politics and administration or similar.
  • You have an interest in the health field and a desire to work with interesting and diverse tasks in a politically led organization.
  • You are open and positively inclined towards new challenges.
  • You have good collaboration skills.
  • You can work independently, but are not afraid to ask for help when in doubt.

Practical information

  • The internship is at Regional House Viborg, with the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week.
  • The internship is unpaid, but any travel costs can be compensated (e.g., commuter cards/youth cards).
  • Working hours are 37 hours per week or as agreed. Start and end times are agreed together.
  • We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and reserve the right to close the advertisement when the right candidates are found.
