Office Manager for the Corporate Development Office in the Ministry of Justice

A position as head of office in the Ministry of Justice's department is available for fill on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The area of responsibility for the position for the time being will be the management of the Corporate Development Office.

About the position

The Corporate Development Office belongs to the Resource Department in the Ministry of Justice's department. The office is a central driver in the work to ensure that the Ministry of Justice acts as a corporation that ensures holistic thinking and efficiency across the area.

As head of the Corporate Development Office you will be responsible for development and operation of the common management tasks in the Ministry of Justice's corporate group, for the development of and follow-up on the IT area and the cyber- and information security area in the Ministry of Justice's corporate group as well as animal welfare control, which is a new area under the Ministry of Justice.

The Corporate Development Office has, across the ministerial area, among other things the responsibility for

• a number of larger analyses and projects aimed at creating increased quality and efficiency in the judiciary, including a particular focus on reducing the case processing time in the criminal procedure chain
• the development and operation of a number of corporate management fora
• to set strategic direction for the corporation
• to supervise and follow the work of the Danish Audit Office on the ministerial area
• to coordinate the work in the digitalization area as well as the cyber- and information security area both cross-ministerially and across the Ministry of Justice's corporate group

It is expected that you through close professional leadership ensure that results of high professional quality are continuously delivered. You will have the daily responsibility for personnel leadership and competence development of capable and engaged employees.

Desired qualifications

We attach importance to you being professionally strong, that you have a relevant social science education (cand.scient.pol., cand.oecon., cand.polit. or similar) and solid experience from the central administration.

In addition we attach importance to you being a motivating and appreciative leader who can set direction and followership.

Salary and terms of employment

The employment area is the Ministry of Justice with associated institutions, and the position is filled on collective agreement terms in accordance with the framework agreement on contractual appointment of managers in the state. The position is placed in salary grade 1 with a base salary of between 692,339-733,041 DKK annually at the current level. Supplements may be granted depending on experience and qualifications.

The position is desired to be filled on a fixed-term basis.
