Nutritional specialist with sole responsibility for the kitchen in Eventyrlunden

Are you passionate about creating healthy, tasty and nourishing food for children? Do you want to be the sole person responsible in a kitchen where quality, joy of food and good ingredients are at the core? Then you might be the one we are looking for at Eventyrlunden.

We are seeking a nutrition-focused sole lead on 30 hours per week with start date to be agreed upon.

About the position

As the sole nutrition lead, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen at Eventyrlunden. You plan menus, order goods, prepare meals and ensure a high standard within nutrition, hygiene and food safety.

We work with modern institutional meals , where the focus is on

• Healthy, varied and nourishing food
• High share of wholegrain products
• Fresh ingredients and good taste
• The link between pedagogy and meals
• Children's joy of eating, willingness to try new foods and curiosity about meals
• The Danish Health Authority's recommendations for food for children in day care

We are looking for a candidate who

• Is educated as a nutrition assistant, økonoma or has another relevant nutrition-related education
• Can work independently and take responsibility for the kitchen's overall operation
• Has knowledge of children's nutrition, dietary considerations, allergies and healthy eating
• Is organized and can plan a varied menu
• Has knowledge of self-monitoring and applicable hygiene requirements
• Thrives in a house full of life and community
• Sees the meal as an important part of children's well-being, learning and development – and the kitchen as the heart of the house
