We are looking for new colleagues to join our team!

At KS Elektro we are busy, so we are now seeking engaged welders / electrical welders who want to be part of a team where precision, quality and collaboration are in the spotlight.

As a welder with us you will have the opportunity to work with exciting and varied tasks on modern ships, where no day or ship is the same.

As part of our team you will be an important part of the construction and preparation for installation of electrical systems on some of the most advanced and modern ships in the world.

Your tasks may include

• To assist our electricians with the installation of cable ladders , so that all installations have the best structure and safety.
• To make foundations and install electrical cabinets , which will be the backbone of the ship's electrical systems.
• To prepare areas for electrical installations , so our electricians can install WI-FI, lighting and other technical solutions that make the ship fully functional.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience welding and grinding – and preferably experience with aluminum
• Has experience working from technical drawings
• Is in good spirits, has initiative and an interest in the trade
• Wants to become part of a dynamic and well-functioning workplace

KS Elektro A/S and Karstensens Shipyard currently employ 550 people, of whom 130+ are employed at KS Elektro. Together we are a leading player in building pelagic fishing vessels, with a backlog of 5-7 newbuilds per year. In addition, 100-150 different ship types are serviced annually with repairs and major conversions at the yard.
