Lab technician for day shift in environmental laboratory

Eurofins Miljø A/S is one of Denmark's leading environmental laboratories. We specialise in chemical and microbiological analyses of water, soil and air, and we manage the whole process from planning and sampling to analyses and evaluation of results.

Our metals department functions as a national competence center and conducts analyses of metals and minerals in various sample types, including soil, building waste, sludge, foodstuffs and much more. The department analyzes around 400,000 samples annually.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated laboratory technician for our day shift in the Metals Department. Working hours are by agreement, distributed in the time window between 06:00 – 18:00.

As a laboratory technician you will be involved in the entire process from reception of samples to finished analysis results. Your primary tasks will include handling samples on ICP-OES, CV-AAS and ICP-MS instruments.

Kvalifikationer

• You have a relevant educational background as a laboratory technician or equivalent and possess solid professional competences in laboratory work.
• You have an understanding of sample preparation, analysis methods and data handling.
• You can work in accordance with applicable method specifications, quality requirements and safety procedures.
• You are able to work systematically, in a structured way and maintain an overview during busy periods.
• You have good teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to maintain an overview during busy periods

The job requires both standing and walking activities, so physical mobility is important.

37 hours distributed over 5 weekdays.

You will also participate in our Saturday on-call rota, where you work on Saturdays about every 8 weeks, and take corresponding time off in the week before or after.
