Lab technician for PCR analyses

At Eurofins Milk Testing Denmark A/S we analyze raw milk samples for a number of parameters used in connection with the dairy's settlement to the milk producer as well as to the individual farmer. Each day we therefore handle thousands of milk samples on different types of automated equipment and perform analyses on technically advanced equipment based on, among others, FT-IR, flow cytometry, PCR and ELISA.

In addition, Eurofins Milk Testing Denmark A/S performs serological analyses, either as part of national zoonosis and disease control programs or as a service for farmers and veterinarians. We also analyse food samples for several different microbiological pathogens.

Job description

You will work in a department that analyses samples from livestock and food production for various diseases using ELISA and/or PCR methods. You will participate in the process from the start of the analysis in the laboratory to the reading and approval of the analysis. The primary analyses you will work with are analysis of milk samples for mastitis bacteria as well as food samples for various pathogens using RT-PCR.

Qualifications

Professional competencies

• You are trained as a laboratory technician or equivalent
• You have IT experience and preferably LIMS
• It is advantageous if you have experience with PCR and/or ELISA
• You speak and write Danish

Terms

Your 37 weekly working hours are placed on weekdays within the time period 06:00-18:00 according to the work schedule. There will be work every 4th weekend, with 10-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

Salary in accordance with the collective agreement and possibly allowances according to qualifications and experience.
