Teacher with competencies in crafts and design and Danish

We are seeking an engaged teacher with strong relational skills for our school, who is passionate about craftsmanship and design and Danish – and we would also like to hear what else you can contribute.

We are a rural school with two campuses. One in Over Jerstal and one in Bevtoft. The position is primarily at our campus in Over Jerstal, where we have about 130 children. There will also be hours at the campus in Bevtoft, where about 60 children attend in 4 combined classes.

We are a close-knit environment, with engaged parents and colleagues, and where there is little distance from thought to action.

In Over Jerstal we are a single-stream school with about 130 pupils in grades 0 to 6. In addition, we have early childhood provisions with a nursery and kindergarten. There is SFO at both campuses.

About the position

We are looking for a teacher who

• can teach Danish to the middle years. Some of the hours as CO-teacher
• can teach craft and design - at both primary and lower secondary levels
• very much welcome if you have competencies or an interest in library science
• is good at seeing the best in the students, challenging and moving the individual student – regardless of academic level
• works in a structured, clear way with a focus on learning and well-being
• works inclusively and sees the value in strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents
• is academically well founded and at the same time curious about new didactic approaches
• wants to put themselves in play, and actively contribute to a positive and development-oriented team spirit.

Practical information

The position is 30-37 hours.

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and local agreements.
