Teacher sought for Præstegårdsskolen, Line S, Kvaglund department

Line S at Kvaglundskolen in Esbjerg Municipality is seeking a teacher for a permanent position with starting date on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible. You must have a strong interest in working with children and young people within the special needs area, and be able to participate physically in various activities. It is an advantage if you have mathematics, music, German and/or science on the line. The position is between 32 and 37 hours per week.

Line S is a segregated school provision for pupils in Esbjerg Municipality. The target group is students from grades 0–9 with a combination of severe social, emotional, cognitive, communicative and/or relational difficulties. There are often complex difficulties as well as students with diagnoses within the autism spectrum, ADHD, etc.

We are talking about students who, due to their functional level and challenges, have not benefited from the offer in a regular class. In order for the student to be offered schooling at Line S, the student must be referred via the central admission committee, DUS.

Line S currently has about 110 students aged 6–17 years distributed across grades 0–9, and there are currently 23 teachers and 24 educators who work closely in class teams.
