About you

You are a trained teacher and enthusiastic about working with children who need clear adults, strong relationships and safe learning environments. You meet the students with recognition, structure and high expectations – and you can see opportunities, even when everyday life calls for flexibility and pedagogical overview.

We emphasize that you are passionate about your subjects, actively contribute to team collaboration and want to work closely with colleagues, pedagogues, families and multidisciplinary partners. Experience with special education is an advantage, but most important is your willingness to learn, reflect and develop practice together with others.

The position is a permanent full-time role at Overgården. As a starting point, you will have your hours grouped around one cohort according to the few-teacher principle.

About us

Overgården is Egtved School's special provision for students with socio-emotional challenges. The department consists of about 45 students and 18 teachers and pedagogues. Students are organized into five teams, four of which are located at Egtved School, and the Beta team is an Outdoor School for students with extended special educational needs.

We work in a learning-oriented manner with high professional standards, well-being and formation. Our core task is to strengthen students' learning, development and participation in communities.

Teaching is based on dialogue, clear frameworks and inclusive learning environments where all students have the opportunity to participate and develop academically and personally.

With us you will become part of a close professional community where we plan, spar and develop teaching together. We prioritize well-being, presence and an open-door culture, where you have colleagues and leadership close by in everyday life.

Employment terms

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement. It is a permanent full-time position starting on December 1, 2026.

Information about starting salary

Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for the Danish Teachers’ Association. The expected full-time salary excluding pension is between approximately 37,000-44,000 DKK per month, depending on seniority and qualifications. Final salary determination is made according to the applicable collective agreement and based on qualifications and experience.
