Who are we at Gram School?
Gram School is centrally located in Gram town and is an important gathering point in the local community. We have about 250 students from 0th to 9th grade, including a special class range and an after-school program (SFO).
Gram School is a single-track school where work is done across classes. This means that in several lessons there are three specialists for two classes. At Gram School this is called cluster cooperation. The cluster cooperation is a central part of our pedagogical approach. It provides opportunities for:
Differentiation: We can better tailor the teaching to the students' different needs.
Strengthened communities: Students experience a broader social environment, and teachers gain a strong professional community.
Co-teaching: As a form of collaboration, as practice and as a learning opportunity for the students.
Professional sparring: You get close colleagues in everyday life, so you can develop the teaching together and create the best learning framework.
We have close cooperation with Gram After-School Center, Børnehuset Nobi and other local actors, and we work purposefully to create a local thread in children's lives—from early childhood education to upper primary.
The open school is a natural part of our teaching, and we actively use the resources and competences of the local community.
We work based on the values: academic rigor, community, engagement and respect. Our learning environment is characterized by diversity and a resource-oriented view of the students.
We offer
- a committed and developmental collaboration in daily life
- 40 academically skilled and engaged colleagues
- a school with close contact to the students and good relationships
- a daily life characterized by academic inspiration and sparring
- a local and approachable school culture
- an engaged parent collaboration.
