Your tasks and profile

We are particularly looking for 1-2 teacher profiles who can teach Danish for 4th and 7th grade. The positions can be combined with other subjects, such as crafts/design, German, physical education, reading improvement groups or DSA.

• You are clear and good at classroom management
• You believe that all children do their best, and you work to ensure everyone has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Who we are

Lærkeskolen has just over 750 students in three-four tracks and 60 teachers, as well as SFO-pedagogues and club educators. Lærkeskolen is a five-minute walk from bus and S-train. We are ambitious for ourselves and the students, and we know that well-being and learning go hand in hand. We have at the school an informal and welcoming working environment, where there is room for diversity, where we prioritise that employees have a teacher education. For us the collegial community is in the foreground.

Egedal Municipality and the local Teachers' Association have entered into a working hours agreement that among other things allows for preparing at home. As a rule, a full-time teacher teaches 26 lessons in Egedal Municipality, and newly qualified teachers teach 24 lessons in the first year and 25 lessons in the second year. An inclusion worker will support newly qualified teachers around the start with learning conversations. All new employees are assigned a mentor to help one settle in at the school, and there is also a teacher-start scheme in the municipality that supports new employees.

Application and start

The positions are permanent from November 1, 2026 or shortly thereafter. The application deadline is Tuesday October 18, 2026. Interviews are held on an ongoing basis. References will be sought for preferred candidates.

Certificates/diplomas should be attached.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. A police certificate and a certificate of conduct for work with children will be obtained at the time of hire.
