Installation Manager for ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems

As part of a planned generational shift, we are looking for an Installation Manager who will become part of the local management team and report to the Business Unit Manager for ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems based in Hobro.

As Installation Manager you have the overall responsibility for leadership, operation and development of the installation and assembly organization in BSI Denmark. The role ensures effective planning, coordination and execution of installation projects through own technicians, planners and project managers as well as external suppliers with focus on quality, safety, delivery reliability, profitability and customer satisfaction.

The position plays a central role in realising the business strategy for BSI DK and works closely with the Equipment Sales organization to ensure professional and customer-oriented deliveries. As a leader you are expected to be a role model for ASSA ABLOY’s values, leadership principles and culture.

Responsibilities

• Business and financial responsibility as well as daily management of the assembly, installation and planning organization.
• Lead and develop employees through coaching, performance management and competency development.
• Create a culture characterized by high performance, engagement and accountability.
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding and retention of employees.
• Ensure effective collaboration across sales, project management, service and other functions.
• Operations and project execution. Ensure installations from order handover to final delivery to the customer.
• Subcontractor management. Responsibility for capacity planning, resource allocation and staffing.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, budgets, contract requirements and delivery targets.
• Actively participate in larger or more complex projects.
• Drive continuous improvements of processes, productivity and efficiency.
• Implement and support principles such as “First Time Right.” Quality, safety and compliance.

Success criteria in the job

As Installation Manager you deliver results through high quality and safety in installation deliveries, adherence to schedules, budgets and contract requirements, and efficient use of resources and subcontractors. You contribute to high customer satisfaction, strong customer relationships and continuous improvements in productivity and processes, while ensuring a stable and well-functioning installation organization. Success is also measured by the achievement of agreed KPI’s within quality, delivery, efficiency and economy.

Professional competences

• Documented experience in leading installation-, assembly- or project companies.
• Solid experience in managing subcontractors and external partners.
• Strong understanding of project management, quality assurance and process optimization.
• Relevant technical background supplemented by experience from technical or industrial companies, preferably within contracting, construction, access solutions or similar sectors.
• Good financial understanding and experience with budgets, KPI’s and profitability.
