We are currently looking for a colleague for our remote warehouse in Zealand, geographically Brødeskov (Allerød) in a fixed-term position.

About us

The Defence Logistics Service is a modern logistics company that supports the Defence's soldiers and other employees with supplies.

The warehouses receive, store and deliver supplies to the Danish Defence, which are sent to units in Denmark, but also to units and external partners abroad.

You will become part of a team under the Materials, Uniforms, IT and Production Section, which has warehouses and production sites across Denmark. Our primary task is to receive, stage and deliver the purchased matériel.

About the position

We offer the right candidate a position where you will join a team that handles the tasks in the warehouses – including goods receipt, picking, shipping, counting and other routine warehouse work, including matériel that has been purchased for specific project-related tasks.

About you

It is desirable that you are trained warehouse and logistics operator or equivalent, with several years of experience in warehouse work and that you are prepared to take supplementary courses as needed.

Knowledge of English at user level, SAP R/3 as well as the Office suite and common warehouse procedures will be an advantage.

It is an advantage if you are experienced in operating a forklift and pallet truck.

If you also have experience with the use of handheld scanners and LEAN, as well as experience from previous service in the Defence, this will also be an advantage, likewise that you have a flexible approach to participate in the section's other tasks.

Employment terms

The employment is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organization – The Public Sector (OAO-S collective agreement) and the Organizational Agreement for cleaners, sanitarians, skilled workers and certain vocational educated etc. in the state (3F).

Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is the possibility of negotiating allowances. There is an employer-financed pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is at the Remote Warehouse Brødeskov near Allerød.

As an employee within the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special conditions. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance during the entire employment.

You have as an employee an obligation to perform service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacemaking, humanitarian and other similar operations.

About the Defence Supply Service

The Defence Supply Service became part of the Operational Support Command on 1 January 2026, which is a staff that plans, coordinates and partially directs logistic operations across the Defence and develops the logistic area and setup in step with the Defence's development.

Operational Support Command consists, in addition to the staff, of four authorities with their own distinct tasks. The Defence Maintenance Service, The Defence Medical Command, The Defence Supply Service and Joint Movement and Transportation Organisation.
