WHO ARE WE IN GOODS RECEPTION AT COOLSHOP?

Coolshop is one of the Nordics' largest online retailers of electronics, toys, games, movies, beauty and much more — and all that we sell begins its journey right here: in the goods reception in Nørresundby. The GoodsIn team are the ones who ensure that goods are received correctly, registered correctly and ready to move on. No mistakes, no shortages, no disorder that creates problems six steps further down the chain.

The peak season is knocking, and goods are already starting to come in via the ramp. We need more cheerful hands – people who want to be part of the team when it really matters. And we’re talking a lot of goods.

THE JOB

GoodsIn is where the goods meet Coolshop for the first time. When a truck backs up to the ramp, it’s you who greets the driver, receives the delivery and ensures that everything is ready to move further into the warehouse. You check the goods, register them in the system and prepare them for placement. If you spot errors, shortages or inconsistencies — and that happens — you are the one who contacts our purchasing team and ensures it gets fixed. You are the link between the arriving item and the warehouse that has to function.

YOUR TASKS

It’s not a complicated job — but it is an important one. Your day-to-day looks concretely like this:

• Greet drivers at the ramp and handle incoming deliveries professionally and efficiently
• Receive goods, scan and register them correctly, and prepare them for placement in the warehouse
• Contact the purchasing department for errors, shortages or inconsistencies in the delivery
• Handling and registering POs — systematic approach is the key to avoiding errors further down the chain
• Testing and quality control of received products — you’re the first to spot problems
• Ensure correct flow from arrival to further handling in the warehouse
• Keep the goods reception area organized, tidy and ready for the next delivery

The tasks are clear, the expectations are explicit, and you work in a team that knows what they’re doing. The only thing we need from you is for you to join in — fully.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re not looking for the most experienced. We’re looking for the most motivated. The one who shows up ready to start — who doesn’t wait to be set in motion. Who is stable, present and takes ownership of their part of the team. If you have a background in warehousing, logistics or production, that’s a plus. But the most important is who you are — not what your CV says.

• You are independent and find tasks yourself — without being asked
• You are stable and punctual — your colleagues rely on you
• You thrive with physical work and a high tempo
• Experience from warehousing, logistics, production or machine operator work is a plus
• You communicate in Danish
