Laundry Technician

The laundry team in RS Vaskeri is looking for a skilled technician who will help speed up our hospital laundry in Holbæk. We ensure that hospitals, psychiatry and many others in Region Zealand get clean uniforms as well as clothing and linens for patients every day.

We have built a workplace with new premises, modern machines and a new organisation. You will receive thorough training from your colleagues, so you are well prepared to handle all technical challenges that may arise. As part of the team you will collaborate on maintenance and repair of all our laundry machines, and you will play an important role in ensuring efficient operation.

Who are you?

• You have a relevant education (preferably electrician, mechanic or equivalent)
• Experience from industry/laundry sector is an advantage but not required
• You are strong in troubleshooting and have knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics and electrical control/automation
• You have good IT literacy and technical flair
• You can work independently and cross-functionally in collaboration with production
• You have good physical fitness, are flexible and collaborative

Working hours are 37 hours per week. The day shift hours are from 05:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 05:00 to 15:30 on Friday. Evening shift between 12:00 and 20:00.

It is expected that there will be rotation between day and evening shifts. Possibility for additional on-call in case of breakdown.

Starting salary for employees under collective agreement

The region is obligated to inform you about the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally set allowances and pension under the relevant collective agreement. Besides the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
