You do not need to be a specialist in all of the company's technologies. The most important is that you have a technical background, a solid electrical understanding, and a desire to acquaint yourself with new systems and solutions.

About the job

You will have a versatile role, where you work with technical solutions within, among other things, fire, security, access control, surveillance and building automation.

Your daily life will be shaped by varying projects and tasks, where you work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, customers and suppliers. You will have the opportunity to work with different technologies and solutions and be part of the whole process – from tendering and selecting products and solutions to installation, commissioning and final handover to the customer.

There will be both planned tasks and urgent technical challenges. The position also includes participation in a on-call duty scheme about every 5-6 weeks, where the on-call duty runs from Monday to Monday.

Your primary tasks will be

• Troubleshoot, configure and program technical systems
• Participate in projects from solution choice to installation and commissioning
• Select products and technical solutions for specific projects
• Document solutions and performed work
• Collaborate with customers, colleagues, manufacturers and suppliers

Your profile

Your exact educational background is not decisive, but you must have a solid understanding of the electrical and network infrastructure on which the solutions are built. You do not necessarily need to be able to perform all installations yourself, but you must be able to see what needs to be established or coordinated so that the overall solution can be delivered.

You do not need to know everything from day one. What you cannot do today, you will be trained in, provided you are curious and take responsibility for your professional development.

It is an advantage if you are trained as an electrician, but you could also have a background as an security technician, automation technician, CTS technician or IT/network technician with relevant electrical experience.

• Have an analytical approach to troubleshooting and can work your way to solutions for technical challenges
• Can maintain an overview and prioritize your tasks, even when unplanned situations arise
• Work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Are familiar with IT and digital systems
• Are a good colleague who values collaboration and can communicate with customers

Experience with, for example, MX5000, NOX, Milestone, SALTO and Cisco is an advantage, but not a requirement.

The position also requires that you have a valid driving license B, can present a criminal record, and can obtain the necessary security clearance from PET for the classification level SECRET.
