Leisure-time Supervisor and Sports Consultant in Rødovre Municipality (maternity leave cover)

ABOUT THE JOB

The Department of Children and Culture in Rødovre Municipality is seeking a dedicated leisure supervisor and sports consultant for a fixed-term position until 31.01.2028. The position is 37 hours and is requested to be filled by 1 January 2027.

In Rødovre we have a strong leisure life and many well-run associations that contribute to a healthy and active life for our citizens. We are in rapid development, and our ambitious sports policy sets the framework for our sports life many years ahead.

As a leisure supervisor and sports consultant you will have a central role in continuing to develop and support the association life in Rødovre Municipality with particular focus on:

• Leisure Pass : We have an established leisure pass scheme, where we cooperate with our many good sports and scout associations on a leisure pass that makes it possible to provide membership support to children and young people who do not have the means to participate in a leisure activity on their own. As a leisure supervisor and sports consultant you will continue the dissemination and anchoring of the leisure pass.
• Leisure guidance: You will become the active link between citizens, associations, schools, institutions, professionals and volunteers to strengthen communities and well-being, and ensure that vulnerable children and young people gain access to sports and leisure life and continue in leisure communities.
• Development of the sports area: You will among other things work with the implementation of the municipality's sports policy. support for projects that arise from our partnership agreement with DGI, administration and development of our movement package, all in collaboration with associations, schools and institutions around sport and movement.
• Political servicing: Preparation of notes, presentations and case summaries for political committees.
• Administrative tasks: As a leisure supervisor and sports consultant you will handle consultancy, case processing and administrative tasks in the sports and association area, including follow-up on and reporting of the leisure pass scheme.

As a leisure supervisor and sports consultant you will be part of a tight team of a total of 8 consultants, and you will also participate in other initiatives and events in the Culture and Sports area, which broadens in cooperation with other administrative areas. In short, you help ensure that more residents in Rødovre enjoy an active leisure life.

YOUR PROFILE

• Are outgoing, proactive and good at building relationships in collaboration with associations, families and professionals
• Work systematically and structured, so you can maintain overview, coordinate initiatives and deliver clear, written reports
• Have a relevant higher education within e.g. sports, teaching, pedagogy, social sciences, culture
• Are passionate about making a difference for children and young people

In addition, it is an advantage if you

• Have experience with the world of associations, volunteering and working in a politically governed organization
• Are empathetic and present in your approach, but also can stand firm when faced with challenges and resistance
• Have experience with project management and initiating projects
• Have strong communication skills and can prepare easily understandable, precise written presentations for different target groups – also with tight deadlines
