About the job

Do you want an active job with responsibility, people and a daily life where the days are not always the same?

We are seeking lifeguards for our team at the Slagelse and Korsør swimming pools.

As a lifeguard, your most important task is to create safety and security for our guests. At the same time you are a visible part of the swimming pool and help provide our guests with a good experience.

Your tasks will include

  • active and attentive pool surveillance
  • first aid and handling of incidents
  • service and guidance to guests
  • cleaning and practical operational tasks

We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable and good with people. You must be able to keep an overview and be keen to be part of a team.

These are full-time positions, and you should expect to participate in a shift roster with shifts that can fall on weekdays, evenings and weekends. The work takes place at both Slagelse and Korsør Swimming Halls. You must be self-transporting, as public transport does not necessarily cover the swimming halls' opening times.

Experience as a lifeguard is an advantage, but not necessarily a requirement. Requirement for a professional lifeguard certificate and training will be arranged in connection with the appointment.

Salary and terms of employment

Remuneration according to the applicable collective agreement. We will obtain a criminal record check and a children's certificate. Employment will be conditional upon these being satisfactory.

Driving license category B and being self-transporting are requirements.

From 1 August 2023, Slagelse Municipality has introduced smoke-free working hours
