Small kindergarten with strong professional expertise seeks 1-2 new colleagues Kongens Vænge Børnehus seeks a pedagogue for our nursery group

Kongens Vænge Børnehus is one of the smallest integrated kindergartens in Hillerød Municipality, and we are also a relatively newly established early childhood offering that is normed for 44 children, distributed across 1 nursery group and 1 kindergarten group spread over two rooms.

Kongens Vænge Børnehus is characterized by a professionally strong learning environment, where we always see the individual child and design our learning environments according to the child's needs and development.

Our pedagogical work is based on Neuro-affective Developmental Psychology and strong communities. We are also focused on the mindset behind NEST and use several of its principles and theories as a foundation in our pedagogical work.

We have also been selected, together with 7 other early childhood services in Hillerød Municipality, to participate in a nationwide development program “All children's early childhood services,” which runs for the next 4 years. Our focus in this program is the importance of play for children's development and learning, and how we adults best support children's development and well-being. Together we shall explore and be investigative about our own practice.

Our activities are planned based on an annual cycle containing the themes and values of the Strengthened Curriculum. We work pedagogically all day, and are not so focused on a “finished product” but more on the process. We are seeking a pedagogue who,

• is clear, engaged and present in their work with the children.
• focuses on the children and their relationships, and is aware that we bear responsibility for the relational contact with the child.
• works structurally, reflectively and with documentation in the pedagogical practice.
• has good collaboration skills and actively participates in staff meetings, parent meetings, and in collaboration with other professional groups
• is professionally strong and able to reflect on one's own pedagogical practice.
• wishes to be an active part of the room and the house
