Lillebæltskolen seeks an engaged mathematics teacher

Are you passionate about mathematics and about creating teaching that awakens students' curiosity and desire to learn? Then this position is a perfect opportunity for you.

We are seeking a committed and passionate teacher with strong didactic and relational skills, who would like to teach primarily mathematics in the early years and on the middle years.

You meet the students with presence, clear expectations and an eye for their different starting points.

If you also have competencies in or a wish to teach home economics, science/technology or physical education, that is an advantage but not a requirement.

Lillebælskolen is located in Middelfart and is a well-functioning school with about 500 students from 0-9th grade and a before/after school program (SFO) with about 180 children.

We are a school that aims to create good environments, room for everyone, and where strong inclusive learning communities, engagement, joy and wholehearted days are important elements, both in the SFO and at the school.

The school has good physical facilities, large green outdoor areas and is situated in scenic surroundings near the Little Belt, but in an urban-adjacent environment.

Salary and employment terms

Workplace: Lillebæltskolen

Working hours: 37 hours

Start date: no later than 1 December 2026

Salary placement follows the collective agreement for teachers etc. in primary school and special education for adults, our pre-arrangements and any individual allowances based on special competences, knowledge or experience.

The position's salary range as a teacher will be from 37,510 DKK to 44,050 DKK, depending on the candidate's seniority, continuing education and personal competences.

The salary range is a monthly salary excluding pension.

In the above salary range there is included a special Middelfart allowance of 1,523 DKK according to our pre-agreement.
