Lindegården consists of 3 offerings: One residential care home, one activity and day care service, and 3 shared living communities.

Right now we are seeking 2 pedagogues for our Residential Care Home in house 1 and house 2 on 30-37 hours per week. There are day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend. There will be the possibility of double shifts on weekends. The positions are to be filled as soon as possible.

About us

The target group in the Residential Care Home is adults with developmental disabilities with permanently reduced physical and mental function. The residents vary in age, language and mobility, but common for all residents is that they – almost always – have a good sense of humor and are life-affirming to work with. Lindegården is a pedagogical residential care home where we fundamentally work with sensory integration and health pedagogy based on a neuro-pedagogical approach.

The basic needs are at the forefront, including personal care and it is important to create safe and homely frames, based on the individual resident. We take pride in celebrating traditions and use any occasion to “party.” We frequently use the area around the castle and the castle park for walking and cycling trips.

The tasks are varied, but always with focus and starting point in our core task and a pedagogical approach. At the Residential Care Home there are 36 residents, divided into 3 houses with 12 in each. You will become part of a team of 15-20 colleagues, who take care of one house.

We place a high value on professionalism! There will be 3 introduction shifts and an introduction to Lindegården’s Professional Foundation, which describes professional values, methods and approaches in the work.

About you

We expect that you are trained as a pedagog, pedagogical assistant or other within the social or health care field, with experience and great curiosity within the pedagogical area and actively contribute with your humanity in everyday life. It is important that you have engagement and empathy for the residents and have ethics in order, as well as demonstrating loyalty. We place weight on written skills, including insight and ability in documentation work.

Likewise, it is important that you can create an overview, including the ability to coordinate and collaborate, but also be able to master working alone. Finally, a sense of humor is a valuable asset that is highly valued.
