We are seeking a competent staff member for the day- and activity offering Linden.

Linden is part of Lindegården, which consists of 3 offerings: one residential care facility, one day- and activity-based service, and 3 shared living homes.

We are currently seeking one staff member for the day- and activity offering Linden. The positions are 30 – 37 hours per week. Working hours are distributed Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.

About us

The target group in the day- and activity offering is adults with intellectual disabilities with permanently reduced physical and mental functioning. It is a pedagogical service where we basically work with neuro-pedagogy and sensory integration. We work with an appreciative approach. There are 20 full-time places and the residents are divided into 2 groups.

The residents have different issues, including 3 individuals with varying degrees of autism spectrum disorder and other residents with different forms of physical and mental disabilities. The residents come physically ”close” to you, but are not outwardly aggressive. Basic needs are a priority and it is important to create safe and predictable frames, based on the individual resident.

We pride ourselves on celebrating traditions and, in general, use any occasion to ”hold a party”. The position is divided between a 1:1 support and in one of the groups.

About you

We expect you to be educated in the pedagogical field and to have experience with the target group. It is important that you have commitment and empathy for the residents and that you have integrity, as well as loyalty. It is important that you can handle loud noises, as well as fluctuating and varying intensity in the work, from activities with full pace and volume to quiet and calm activities. Resilience, good teamwork, and the ability to work 1:1 with specific residents. You may have experience in the field of special needs and in working with LA2 and sensory stimulation.

Openness, humor and the ability to work with non-verbal communication, e.g. 'sign language' are important personal qualities.

A driver's license and willingness to drive a handicap bus are an advantage.

Salary according to collective agreement.
