LOTO Specialist - Electrical & Instrumentation

Do you have solid experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and a strong electrical engineering background? Do you thrive in a technical project environment where safety, coordination and practical understanding go hand in hand?

We are seeking an experienced LOTO Specialist with an E&I background for a 1-year consulting assignment with the possibility of extension.

About the assignment

You will be part of a commissioning environment where safety and proper handling of energy sources are crucial for a safe commissioning of technical facilities.

Your primary task will be to coordinate, instruct and verify LOTO activities within Electrical & Instrumentation in close collaboration with contractors, technicians and commissioning teams.

The role requires a solid practical understanding of electrical installations and instrumentation as well as the ability to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with applicable safety procedures.

Your primary responsibilities

• Coordination and follow-up of LOTO activities within E&I.
• Instruction and guidance of contractors and technicians in current LOTO procedures.
• Verification that electrical systems and relevant energy sources are properly isolated and secured before work begins.
• Review of electrical diagrams, technical documentation and isolation points.
• Collaboration with contractors, commissioning teams and other technical stakeholders.
• Ensuring correct LOTO documentation, recording and follow-up.
• Contributing to a safe and structured work environment during commissioning and start-up.

Your professional profile

You have a relevant electrical/electronic education, for example as an electrician, electrical installer, automation technician, marine engineer or similar.

We expect that you

• Have documented practical experience with LOTO and electrical isolation.
• Have a solid E&I background from industrial facilities.
• Have experience with commissioning, installation, operation or maintenance of technical facilities.
• Can read and understand electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Have experience coordinating technical activities and collaborating with contractors.
• Have a strong understanding of electrical safety and applicable procedures.
• Experience from pharma, process industry, offshore, energy or other complex industrial environments.
