Lunas Ark seeks a pedagogue to open a new kindergarten room

Are you our next pedagogical match? A bit about us We are Lunas Ark – a big house with lots of life, professionalism, humor and different people.

We have just moved into our new institution, and we therefore stand in an exciting place. The frames are new, and now we are filling them with what matters most: presence, community, professionalism and good relationships.

We are not looking for perfection.

We are looking for a pedagogue who wants to be an active part of the community, bring their professionalism into play and at the same time be curious about others.

Because we believe that a good working life is not about us having to be the same. It is about us fitting together well – even when we are different.

With us we believe we are each other’s work environment.

Whom do we hope to match with? First and foremost you must be educated pedagogue . For us, pedagogical professionalism is important, and we are looking for a colleague who has their education in their backpack and wants to actively bring it into play in everyday life.

In addition we hope that you

• can take responsibility and at the same time make your colleagues look good
• is curious about the children and about what lies behind their actions
• can create calm and structure, but also seize the spontaneous
• has a desire to develop both yourself and our shared practice

• can see yourself in a daily life where rubber boots, mud and unforeseen adventures belong
• That you can see yourself opening a new room. There will be 5-6 children to start with, and it will be built up gradually.

What we take seriously For us, the children are the core task.

When we are with the children, we are with the children.

We work with a clear and recognizable structure in the rooms, because we believe that present adults, predictability and strong relationships create the best framework for the children.

We work based on Greve Municipality’s view of children , where we believe that all children do the best they can, and that children’s development occurs in relationships.

We work among other things with Marte Meo , and all employees will in the coming years attend a six-day Marte Meo course. We do this because we want to have a common professional language and constantly become more skilled together.

We take professionalism seriously – but we don’t believe that professionalism has to be solemn. We would like to be curious, ask questions, laugh together and talk openly about both what succeeds and what is difficult.

We are also moving into nature We are in the process of developing Lunas Ark towards becoming an institution with a nature profile .

For us it’s not just about being more outdoors. We want to actively use nature in our pedagogical work and give children the opportunity to explore, experiment, sense, move and be curious about the world they are part of.

We have a nature guide attached to help us develop our practice and provide us with inspiration and knowledge that we can take directly into daily life.

And we have good frameworks to do it in. Our new playground offers many opportunities for motor challenges, play and immersion. We will among other things get a fenced area with workshop, chickens, bonfire hut, shelter and outdoor kitchen .

So yes – we hope you like professional reflections.

But we also hope you enjoy exploring with the children, building something from a branch, examining a bug, cooking over a fire or simply standing in the rain and figuring out what the day will bring.

Hug, presence and rubber boots – it’s actually not a bad combination.

• We conduct interviews continuously within the time frame 08:00–16:00
• For the interview, the kindergarten supervisor, the union representative and representatives from the house participate
