About the job
- with the possibility of fixed hours throughout Christmas
Are you a calm night person who can create safety? Then you are probably the one we are looking for.
We are 24 residents and 165 permanent staff. The residents are adults with mental functional impairments, and they need support around the clock. Lyngdal is located in lovely surroundings by Rude Forest in Birkerød, and we are all physically very active during the day. At night, it is your calm that makes the difference.
About the job
With our 1:1 staffing, as an awake night shift you have plenty of time for one resident or a smaller group. All residents need supervision and oversight during the night, and those who are awake need your support to find calm and security.
Your tasks typically
- Supervision and care for the residents throughout the night
- Support for residents who are awake so they find calm and security
- Help with personal care – several residents use diapers
- Light practical tasks, e.g. laundry
- Documentation of your efforts
The working hours are primarily 21:45–07:30 every day of the week.
About you
- You are, for example, trained health assistant, nurse, social- and health care assistant, pedagogical assistant, educator or similar
- You preferably have experience from the special care field, e.g. with autism spectrum disorders
- You can support the individual in a predictable and structured daily life, including personal care
- You have a high professional standard and good collaboration skills
- You are awake and present, even when the clock is three at night
We offer a position as an on-call substitute, where you have the opportunity for fixed hours during holidays as well over Christmas.
