Brief about Lyngdal

Lyngdal is home to 24 adults with autism spectrum disorders and mental disabilities, who thrive best with a predictable, structured and active daily life.

We are also a workplace for 165 employees who collaborate across disciplines, laugh a lot and love doing things properly.

Lyngdal is furthermore a highly specialized §104 and §108 holistic offer with a 1:1 staffing ratio. We live in green surroundings by Rude Forest in Birkerød, so we go for walks and cycle a lot.

You don't have to know everything from day one

We offer training and professional support. You will work according to a fixed schedule with both new and experienced colleagues, and you will participate in supervision, courses and our own continuing education in special pedagogy.

About you

• You are trained as a pedagogue, pedagogical assistant, social and health care assistant, social and health helper, or you are not trained but have experience in the field
• You have experience from the special needs field, e.g. within autism spectrum disorders
• You can help and support the individual to a predictable and structured daily life, where many also need help with personal care
• You have a high level of professionalism and good collaboration skills
• You are active and are happy to participate in activities with the residents
• You have a driving license for a car – and are not afraid to use it

Application and employment

Send your application, CV and relevant attachments no later than Sunday 1 November 2026 . We hold ongoing interviews and are happy to hire with a start date of December 1, January 1 or by agreement.

Wages and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement entered into between Regions' Salary and Tariff Board and Social Educators or FOA.

The position can be 37 hours per week with a mix of day and evening shifts, and every second or every fourth weekend or on-call replacement with a mix of day and evening shifts or at night.

We will obtain references as well as an extended criminal record check upon proposed employment.
