A day in the life at BDO Advisory

As a Manager in our Sourcing & Supply Chain team you will become part of an ambitious and growing advisory environment where strategy and execution go hand in hand. You will play a central role in delivering projects for both Danish and international companies and become a trusted advisor for clients facing significant transformation and optimization initiatives.

You will typically work on projects within

• Procurement- and sourcing transformations
• Strategic sourcing and category management
• Supply chain optimization and operations improvements
• Cost optimization programs
• Operating model design and organizational development
• Digitization of procurement and supply chain functions
• AI-driven improvement initiatives and the use of new technologies
• PMO and transformation management

The role combines project management, client dialogue and professional problem solving. You lead projects independently, but also work closely with colleagues across Advisory and other service areas. Therefore you will have the opportunity to bring together different perspectives and competencies for the benefit of the clients.

We imagine that you

• Are educated cand.merc., cand.polyt., or have a similarly relevant educational background
• Have a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience from a consultancy or an internal advisory function and are accustomed to independently managing client projects, as well as actively contributing to business development by developing existing clients, proposals and new client opportunities
• Have documented experience with project management and leading project teams
• Are strong in stakeholder management and can build trust and communicate effectively with both specialists and senior decision-makers
• Have experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain or related transformation areas, or have a strong motivation to quickly build expertise
• Have experience with and interest in creating value through AI solutions and new technologies
• Thrive in a cross-disciplinary environment and are eager to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines
• Have a structured and solution-oriented approach to tasks
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both Danish and English
• Take responsibility for ensuring that your tasks are followed through to the end
