Manager for CFO Service - Aarhus

RSM Aarhus is growing, and we are experiencing increasing demand for CFO Service from our clients. Therefore we are seeking a Manager with the professional depth and experience needed to quickly and independently take responsibility for own client tasks and function as a competent sparring partner for our clients.

An department in development

You will become part of our Aarhus department with about 50 colleagues, where professionalism and community go hand in hand. We work closely together to create value for our clients, spar across disciplines in everyday work and help each other when needed.

Your primary areas of work

• Manage own client portfolio
• Optimize clients' processes, workflows and financial systems
• Prepare and further develop financial reporting and management information
• Ensure compliance with relevant requirements and guidelines within compliance
• Prepare and follow up on budgets and forecasts
• Undertake tasks related to monthly and annual closings
• Contribute to consolidation tasks when relevant
• Contribute to the professional development of colleagues through sparring and knowledge sharing

About you

You have several years of solid experience with controlling, financial management, reporting and accounting – for example as an auditor, Financial Controller, head of finance or from a similar role.

You have built a strong financial toolbox and can work independently with, among other things, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analyses. You are used to taking responsibility for your deliverables and can quickly adapt to different companies, financial issues and business models.

At the same time you thrive in dialogue with clients and management and are able to translate financial results into relevant and actionable decision-making materials.

We envision that you

• have a relevant financial education, such as HD, cand.merc. or cand.merc.aud
• have several years of relevant experience in a finance function
• have practical experience from an auditing firm
• have solid experience with controlling, financial management, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• have a strong accounting understanding and can ensure a correct and well-documented data basis
• can independently analyse financial results and identify relevant points of attention
• can communicate financial relationships clearly and provide sparring to your clients and management based on your analyses
• naturally takes ownership of quality, progress and deadlines
• have strong Excel skills, good system understanding and preferably experience with ERP systems such as e-conomic, Uniconta and Business Central
• communicate professionally and with trust in both Danish and English.

It is an advantage if you have previously had responsibility for your own clients or acted as an financial sparring partner for management. The most important is that you have the professional ballast and impact needed to quickly step into the role.
