About the job

Energinet will in the coming years attract many new colleagues, and it places great demands on, partly how we recruit and onboard new employees, and partly how we administratively and system‑wise support the employee experience, so employees experience cohesion and quality in their encounter with HR.

You will join the HR leadership team and have the opportunity to help shape how we develop HR, simplify our processes and contribute to the green transition.

Create clear frames for a team that supports the entire Energinet

At our headquarters in Fredericia you will become part of HR, which reports to HR, Strategy and Communications. HR supports the entire Energinet with recruitment, employee development, terms of employment, employment law and business‑oriented HR advisory.

As Manager for HR Recruitment and Support you will have personnel responsibility for five recruitment partners and consultants, four HR coordinators and specialists, and an office apprentice. The team is responsible for recruitment across Energinet and for a number of central HR administrative tasks, including employment contracts, creation of employees, personnel and course administration, digital archive, trainees, as well as pension and health insurance.

“The team values a leader who is visible in everyday life, follows up and provides clear feedback. I emphasize that you can create direction and clear frameworks so employees can make decisions close to the tasks and create progress without compromising quality,” says Senior HR Director Thomas Thrane Larsen.

You ensure quality and progress in recruitment and HR administration

You have overall responsibility for the team's deliveries and for collaboration with leaders and colleagues across HR. You work both with daily management and with driving the development of processes and digital solutions that can streamline workflows – thereby supporting Energinet’s growth.

Your main tasks are to

  • develop and support employees through close contact, ongoing dialogue and clear feedback
  • ensure quality, progress and a good candidate experience in recruitment from needs assessment to contract and start
  • ensure that HR administration delivers efficiently and with high quality
  • drive the development and simplification of processes so the team gains greater decision‑making power and can solve tasks even more efficiently
  • follow up on goals and key figures – and use data to prioritize and develop recruitment and administration

You collaborate closely with the three sister departments in HR – HR Business Partners, HR Development as well as HR Terms & Employment Law.

You create clear frames and increase the team’s decisional power

In your first year in the job you will have built strong relationships with the employees and created a steady rhythm for dialogue, feedback and follow‑up. You will have clarified roles, goals and decision spaces so the team can make more decisions on their own. At the same time you will have contributed to simplifying central recruitment and administrative processes and established relevant key figures that provide a better basis for follow‑up and prioritization.

You have solid leadership experience and broad HR understanding

We expect you to have some years of experience in people management. You also have a broad HR expertise and experience with several parts of the HR area. It is an advantage if you have worked as an HR partner or in another way have experience with business‑driven HR advisory. Knowledge of digital HR solutions is also a qualification we view positively.

We also emphasize that you

  • have human insight and show genuine interest in your employees’ well‑being and development
  • provide ongoing feedback on performance – both when things go well and when something needs to be corrected
  • create the framework for the team to make decisions themselves, and you champion initiative to act
  • promote faster decisions and balance quality with progress
  • prioritize progress and learning over perfection, and encourage pragmatic solutions
  • meet change with calm, overview and perseverance

We view diversity as a strength and encourage all qualified individuals, regardless of background, to apply for the job. We actively and purposefully work with diversity at Energinet and therefore encourage you to omit a photo, information about age, civil status and similar, to minimize unconscious biases in the process.
