Marine Service Technicians for a growth company

For ALLSET Industries in Esbjerg, several Marine Service Technicians are sought who thrive with varied tasks, travel activity, and responsibility.

About the position

The position as Marine Service Technician involves a wide range of tasks onboard ships. You will work with installation, service and maintenance of technical systems, including electrical, electronic and mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Installation, troubleshooting and service of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems onboard ships
• Setup and maintenance of, for example, radar systems, generator plants and communications equipment
• Close customer contact – you follow the tasks from start to finish and ensure good dialogue with customers
• Documentation of performed work and quality assurance of installations
• Coordination and leadership of work tasks, where you in some cases will lead a team of technicians
• Travel work in connection with service and installation tasks (approx. 50-100 days per year)

The position entails a high level of responsibility and at the same time a high degree of freedom to plan and execute the tasks yourself. There will always be strong professional backup from colleagues, and the company ensures thorough training to give you a solid start.

The work can vary from small service tasks to larger projects, where you are involved from start to finish. You will have an exciting and varied everyday life where no two days are the same.

About you

We are looking for technicians who are quality-conscious, solution-oriented and want to develop themselves in a company with plenty of room to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical, electronic or automation, preferably within the maritime sector
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both oral and written
• A solution-oriented approach and the ability to stay composed in pressured situations
• Good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate with everyone – from able seamen to shipping inspectors
• Experience in leading or distributing work is an advantage but not a requirement
• Flexibility regarding travel activity and periods with extra working hours

Your educational background is not decisive – whether you are an electrician, marine engineer, electronics technician or have another relevant background, the most important thing is your experience with electricity and mechanics, preferably from the marine world, and the willingness to take responsibility.

It is advantageous if you have experience with international work, travel activity or offshore tasks.

The position is based in Esbjerg, and it is expected that you reside in the area or are willing to move here.
