Head of Marketing for the Region of Southern Denmark

We are seeking an ambitious Marketing Director who can create direction, ensure momentum and translate plans into action in the Region of Southern Denmark.

About the job

As Marketing Director you will be a central part of the Region of Southern Denmark's regional leadership.

You report to the Regional Director Henrik Petersen and your daily base will be in Cortex Park.

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and carrying out the region's marketing activities. You also ensure that sponsorships and events are translated into valuable activities for both Sparekassen Danmark and our local partners.

Your areas of responsibility will primarily be to

• plan, execute and follow up on larger events and events in the region
• assist the departments with negotiating and finalizing sponsorship contracts as well as activating sponsorships
• translate concepts and initiatives from Marketing and Business Development into activities that create value locally
• create structure and overview of the region's activities, sponsorships and events, including the preparation of annual plans
• contribute to translating the savings bank's purpose into concrete activities that support development and growth in the local areas.

The role requires that you can work strategically and be hands-on with the practical tasks.

You will work closely with your fellow managers, the region's competence center and the local departments, just as you will have a close collaboration with our central marketing department, business development and with other marketing directors in the savings bank.

We prefer candidates who know the market area and have an interest in building relationships across the region.

About Region of Southern Denmark

Region of Southern Denmark comprises our offices in Odense, Aarup, Fredericia and Vejle. Several of the addresses also house multiple departments.

In Cortex Park in Odense M, for example, both one of our corporate customer departments, a private customer department, Private Banking, a support group and a competence center have their daily base - together with you.

In total, the savings bank employs around 120 employees in Southern Denmark and more than 1,900 employees nationwide.
