Marketing & Platform Launch Intern

maiaa is preparing for its public launch in Denmark. We are building a curated marketplace for design-led meeting and event spaces, and we believe that how a platform is introduced matters as much as what it offers.

As our Marketing & Platform Launch Intern, you will work closely with the founder to shape maiaa’s launch narrative and increase visibility across the ecosystem. This is a hands-on role where you will help turn strategy into clear messaging, strong outreach, and real-world momentum while learning how an early-stage marketplace is built.

What you will work on

Your work will sit at the intersection of marketing, storytelling, and early launch execution, including:

Launch messaging & positioning

Help refine how we describe maiaa, what we are, who it is for, and why it matters, across outreach, meetings, and public communication.

Founder-led LinkedIn support

Help shape themes, draft posts, and build a consistent narrative.

Press & ecosystem visibility

Build and manage a structured outreach list including press, communities, and partners. Support outreach drafts and coordinate follow-ups.

Partnership support

Help identify relevant partners such as communities, agencies, and design networks. Prepare short outreach messages and support relationship-building.

Launch plan support

Help structure a practical launch timeline with milestones and visibility initiatives.

Market & positioning research

Conduct competitor and category research and translate insights into sharper messaging.

Real-world exposure

Join selected venue visits and conversations. After meetings, we will have brief group reflection sessions on what we learned and how we can improve our story and approach.

You may be studying marketing, communication, business, innovation, design, or a related field. Prior internship experience is not required. The right mindset matters more than a perfect CV.

You should be based in Copenhagen or within practical commuting distance and available for regular in-person work.

Practicalities

The internship is expected to run for 4–6 months and is full-time at 37 hours per week, designed to fit university internship requirements.

Location: Copenhagen. This is an office-first internship and regular in-person collaboration is expected. Some remote work is possible, but the role is not suitable for someone looking to work remotely or from outside the Copenhagen area.
