Machine operator for our partner in Esbjerg and the surrounding area

The company primarily works with burying cables in the ground and subsequent restoration of sidewalks, paving and surrounding areas so that everything appears neat and orderly again.

About the job

You will typically work in a team of two, where one is the machine operator and the other a handyman. As the machine operator, your main task will be to operate a mini excavator in connection with the excavation work.

However, it is important that you do not only want to sit in the machine. You must also be prepared to take part in the practical and physical work together with your colleague, including digging with a shovel and reinstatement after the job is finished.

A car with a trailer is provided as a starting point - since you will be traveling from home (unless otherwise agreed)

This is a temporary position with a view to permanent employment

Your tasks will include

• Driving and operating a mini excavator
• Excavation in connection with laying cables
• Physical work and hand digging where necessary
• Reinstatement of sidewalks, paving and other areas
• Collaboration with your teammate on the daily task
• Ensuring that the work area is left neat and tidy

Professional qualifications

We expect that

• You have practical experience as a machine operator and are used to driving a mini excavator
• You have a minimum driving license B+E
• You have experience with excavation work – preferably in connection with cable, utility or contractor work
• You are prepared for both machine operation and physical work
• You speak and understand Danish

Working hours

Monday-Thursday: 07:00-15:15

Friday: 07:00-14:45
