Master Data Specialist for Purchasing

What does the role contain?

As Master Data Specialist you will be part of the Purchasing team reporting to the Head of Master Data & Flow of Goods. Your main task will be to ensure correct and complete product data as well as prepare our collections in close collaboration with Category Managers and suppliers. You will have a central role in the work with product information and ESG-related master data that support our home stores and online business.

We are already actively working with AI, automation and digital solutions to reduce manual tasks and optimize our processes. You will be part of this development and have the opportunity to translate new ideas into concrete improvements.

Your main areas of responsibility will be

• Creation, maintenance and quality assurance of products and master data in ILVA's systems
• Preparation of collections and coordination of product launches in close collaboration with Category Managers
• Collection and validation of product and ESG data from suppliers, including labeling, certification and documentation
• Preparation and maintenance of price lists, product overviews and sales materials
• Coordination of product samples, product photography and supplier follow-up
• Optimization of data quality and workflows through digitization, AI and automation

To succeed in the job it is important that you

• Have good data and systems understanding and work in a structured and detail-oriented way
• Are curious about new technology, AI and automation and motivated to find smarter ways to work
• Thrive with coordination, supplier contact and cross-department collaboration
• Take responsibility, create an overview and follow your tasks through to completion
• Have an interest in ESG and product documentation and can communicate in Danish and English

Experience with master data, product administration, purchasing or ERP systems is an advantage but not a requirement. The same goes for experience with AI, automation and ESG-related data. We provide thorough training, so the most important thing is that you have structure, curiosity and a desire to learn.
