Are you our new mathematics teacher?

We need an engaged mathematics teacher to

• mathematics in our upper-school department
• possibly physics
• other school subjects

Vibenshus School is located centrally on Østerbro. We have Fælledparken, the harbour and the beach in our surroundings, which gives us the opportunity to move teaching out of the classroom. We are a 2-3-track school from kindergarten to 9th grade, and we currently have just under 500 pupils.

We are organized into two divisions: the primary school, which consists of 0nd-5th grade and the upper school from 6th-9th grade. We work both in year groups and in subject teams and place a high priority on parallel teaching. This means you must be prepared for a high degree of joint preparation and team collaboration.

Well-being for both pupils and staff and the working environment in general are areas we continuously focus on. Music is important to us, and we cherish our tradition of morning songs and the spring concert.

We expect that you

• are academically strong
• meet the students at eye level
• have high academic expectations for your students, and this should be evident in your teaching
• place job satisfaction and dialogue high on your agenda
• are open to feedback and will take responsibility for a good working environment
• can work closely in a team with colleagues on the students and their learning
• are approachable and will actively participate in collaboration with parents, students, colleagues and management

Terms of employment

This is a full-time position with commencement as soon as possible.

Salary is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

In connection with the employment we will obtain a child-safety (child protection) certificate as well as references.
