Two maternity substitute positions for physiotherapists for the Medical Specialties Group in Physiotherapy at Slagelse Hospital, which is part of Midt- og Vestsjællands Hospital.

We are seeking two dedicated physiotherapists for maternity substitutes in our medical specialties group with start on January 1, 2027 and provisional employment until August 31, 2027 .

About the position

The medical specialties group consists of eight dedicated physiotherapists and one lead physiotherapist. The group carries out physiotherapeutic interventions in the pulmonary, gastrointestinal medical-, gastrointestinal surgical-, cardiac and intensive care departments.

As a physiotherapist with us, you will be part of a professionally strong team where you play a central role in the patient pathways. Your tasks will include, among others:

• Physiotherapeutic assessment and intervention
• Mobilisation of patients
• Respiratory physiotherapy
• Preparation of rehabilitation plans
• Interprofessional coordination and planning of patient pathways

You will contribute to ensuring that patients are discharged as well as possible and at the right time. You will act as the coordinator of the physiotherapeutic effort and work closely with patients, relatives and interdisciplinary collaborators.

We are looking for a physiotherapist who

• Has solid physiotherapeutic competencies and clinical reasoning abilities
• Can perform independent assessments and make professional decisions
• Thrives in complex patient pathways
• Values collaboration and communication highly, both mono-disciplinary and interdisciplinary
• Has interest in or experience with the medical area
• Contributes positively to the community and the good working environment

• 50 physiotherapists
• 2 social and health care assistants
• 2 secretaries
• 1 deputy head
• 1 senior physiotherapist

Working hours

The positions are full-time and include

• Day shifts and occasional late shifts until 18:00
• Weekend shifts

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

Starting salary for employees covered by collective agreements

The region is obliged to inform you about the starting salary for the position. You will be told the base salary, centrally determined allowances and pension under the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
