About the job

Center for Coping and Community in Skive Municipality…

… is seeking a maternity leave replacement with a relevant pedagogical education, preferably with experience with our target group, and with the tasks we perform in housing support.

Center for Coping and Community, Skive provides housing support and guidance to citizens in their own homes with various challenges, e.g. acquired brain injury, developmental disabilities, ASD, psychiatric comorbidity, social challenges and/or substance abuse.

In addition, there is Open Guidance as well as group programs for citizens at Jeppe Åkjærsvej 18, 7800 Skive, where we are located.

Furthermore, we run the Leisure offering Café KURS, as well as an activity program for older citizens in the target group, in premises located at Smøgen 2b, 7800 Skive.

We provide housing support and guidance tasks for citizens across Skive Municipality; the support can be provided either virtually, in our premises or at the citizen's home.

Our core task

In close collaboration with citizens and caseworkers, we work with habilitation efforts with an affirming and resource-focused approach to the citizens.

The core task forms the centerpiece of our work and must be delivered with high quality and ongoing development for the citizens. Our goal is to support and guide citizens in preserving and developing their own resources through a targeted, structured and collaborative effort.

We work in a holistic manner and use among other things KRAP, as well as neuro-pedagogical and autism-pedagogical approaches.

Work tasks

You will primarily carry out housing support tasks at the Center for Coping and Community, but there may also be a need for you to help with tasks at Café KURS, mainly on Saturdays.

Your daily routine will consist of citizen visits with a group of fixed citizens, where support and guidance is given, and where the efforts are documented in Nexus in accordance with the applicable benefits.

In addition, you will participate in case management meetings, professional sparring and supervision.

The working hours can be distributed on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and approximately every 6th weekend.

In case of illness, or when colleagues need to take time off and/or vacation, we help each other cover each other’s citizens.

We expect that you

  • have a pedagogical or other relevant educational background.
  • have experience with working with housing support tasks under §85, as well as §83 extended supplier, or simply be driven by the desire to work with our target groups.
  • are able to keep focus on the task/core task that the authority has commissioned us with.
