We have a vacant maternity-leave substitute in Spanish and English with start on 1 December.

Aabenraa State School is seeking a committed teacher who is passionate about interacting with young people and delivering the best possible teaching and development for all student types.

We expect that you enjoy close collaboration with skilled and engaged colleagues on interdisciplinary programs, on students' overall educational path and their wellbeing. It goes without saying that you take independent initiatives and are good at creating and maintaining an overview in an exciting upper secondary school day-to-day with lots of wonderful and lively young people.

Our students operate in a study environment where academic excellence, social activities and various leisure activities create the framework. We place great emphasis on students' academic and social wellbeing, just as collaboration with local and regional companies and institutions is also a natural part of being a teacher at Aabenraa State School.

Pedagogical and academic development as well as continuing education are prioritized; likewise collegial sparring and a good working environment are central for all staff at the gymnasium. All staff have a personal workspace, and new employees are assigned a subject-area mentor.
