Maternity leave substitute, SSA/SSH for the dementia unit Egen at Solgården

Parental leave vacancy - social and health care assistant or social and health helper for the dementia unit day shift

Our good colleague goes on maternity leave in December, so we are seeking a social- and health care assistant or a social and health helper for a parental leave vacancy, primarily day shift as of 1 December 2026 or by agreement.

As a day shift you will work on average every 3rd weekend, but you can also work every 2nd weekend if you wish.

Who are we at Egen?

Department Egen is a small independent part of Omsorgscenter Solgården, and a specialized and well-functioning home for our 14 residents with dementia. Here we take care to create a safe home in cozy surroundings. No two days are alike, but we strive every day to create good hours for our residents where they experience security and good moments in daily life.

We work based on Tom Kitwood's person-centered care, and the individual resident's life history, resources, wishes and needs are the starting point for our work and the daily care, activity and nursing.

• have a high dementia professional standard and enjoy getting to the core of the residents through their life history and base your work on that.
• like solving the small ”tasks” that mean so much to our residents.
• appreciate both stable and complex care and nursing tasks.
• see collaboration with our residents' relatives as a value and resource in everyday life.
• are independent, but also value close interdisciplinary collaboration around the resident.
• naturally possess calm, patience and thoroughness.
• prioritize professional collaboration with your colleagues.
• see the social community as a strength in collegial collaboration.
• see everyday life, the day- and seasonal changes as a great value in daily life, and enjoy safeguarding it together with our residents.
• possibly have a creative/active streak.
• are eager to learn and develop in our daily work of making a difference for people with dementia.
