Maternity substitute - Teacher for 1st grade at Skibet School

We need a maternity-leave substitute as soon as possible and therefore we are looking for a new, lovely person to take over the full-time position for about 9-12 months. You must be a Danish teacher in our 1st grade, where you work closely with the mathematics teacher and the pedagogue in a form of co-teaching, where you also share the class-teacher role.

We are looking for a 1st grade teacher in the general department who

• has a teaching degree with major in Danish and preferably experience with the target group,
• has an appreciative approach and can create clear structure and predictability in the learning space,
• is passionate about making a difference – both for the community and for the individual student through participatory didactics,
• is responsible, stable and collaborates well with colleagues, parents and other partners,
• is curious and reflective in your professional approach – also when everyday life challenges,
• works academically with a focus on students' development opportunities and has ambitions on their behalf through, among other things, common topics for the year group.

Skibet Skole is a public school where community, academic rigor and well-being go hand in hand.

The school has about 400 students, distributed between a general department with about 320 students, spanning from 0.-6. grade and a special department with about 80 students from 0. to and including 10th grade.

Employment terms

Employment is in accordance with the agreement for teachers etc. in primary school. The expected starting salary for full-time positions and excluding pension and teaching allowance is DKK 34,885. It is noted that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered full-time maternity-leave substitute position.
