Two teachers with mathematics, physical education, German and/or special pedagogical perspective

We are looking for two skilled teaching colleagues who want to make a difference – both in teaching, in the community and for the young people who need a little extra support.

We need teachers who can teach mathematics, physical education and/or German at the intermediate and upper levels, and at the same time actively bring their special pedagogical knowledge into play. Part of the task will be tutoring and class-based interventions, where you, together with your colleagues, help create a more inclusive and participatory everyday life for all students.

With us you also get a meaningful role in the school's resource team, where your specialization in special pedagogics will be an important part of our joint work with well-being, participation and development.

What else will you bring?

We imagine that you come with professional depth and updated knowledge, and the ability to connect both to students’ daily lives. You possess strong didactic and pedagogical skills, and can plan varied and differentiated instruction so that both strong and challenged students benefit.

You use different teaching methods – project work, digital learning forms, group work, etc. You are strong in classroom management and are relationship-oriented – you create structure, clarity and good frameworks in a wonderful, puberty-filled, middle-school environment, and you naturally use feedback and evaluation methods.

… And of course you are shaped by a positive mindset, a good and infectious mood and you actively contribute to the community with curiosity about your surroundings.

Short and good about Jyderup School

Jyderup School is a lively and curious public school with about 365 children and young people from 0th to 9th grade, Junior Mastery class, 50 skilled teachers and educators, resource staff, joint administration, leadership, technical service and an active school board.

Our surroundings are special: A blooming school garden and school forest, green outdoor areas, good learning environments and historic buildings, which together create a good atmosphere.

Within the school you meet colleagues who welcome you – we laugh together, spar with each other and create a workplace you want to be part of.

All teaching takes place on the bell schedule – it requires good creative ideas, and we have included a wellbeing hour and student interview hours in the timetable for Danish – and mathematics teachers in all classes.

We are a school in positive development. We know where we want to go, and we are in the process of creating a clear shared direction, strong professional communities and a school where children and adults feel like meaningful participants.
