Mathematics teacher with music on the rise at Glavendrup School, Søndersø

At Glavendrup School we are seeking an engaged and academically strong teacher with mathematics as a main subject and music as an important part of their professional profile.

We seek a teacher who can create strong learning communities, spark students' curiosity and make mathematics relevant and meaningful. At the same time, we want a colleague who is keen to bring music into the school's daily life and help support the communities that arise through singing and music.

The position is a fixed full-time role with a start as soon as possible and no later than December 1, 2026.

About the position

Mathematics will be your primary teaching subject, and we therefore seek a teacher who can create clear subject progression and motivating instruction for students with different prerequisites.

At the same time we would like you to have skills in music and a desire to contribute to the school's musical life.

You will become part of an year-group team around our upcoming 5th grade, where you, together with a colleague, will take on the role of co-homeroom teacher. We place emphasis on close collaboration on both students' academic development and the class's well-being.

A particular task will also be to lead the school's daily morning song in close collaboration with a colleague. The morning song is an important part of Glavendrup School's culture and community, and we are looking for a colleague who is keen to continue and develop this tradition together with students and staff.

• has a major in mathematics and can teach music
• creates opportunities for all students to participate
• is a clear and approachable classroom leader
• wants to undertake the role as a shared homeroom teacher in a 5th grade class
• places high value on collaboration with colleagues and parents
• actively contributes to the school's ongoing development

The expected salary range will be provided at the first interview. The final salary will be determined based on your qualifications and previous work experience and after concrete negotiation with the relevant union.
