At Tagtækkergruppen we are looking for weekend relief workers who want to make a difference for citizens in Odense Municipality. We are looking for you who can work every 2nd weekend in regular daytime shifts and who would like to take extra shifts during holiday periods.

You do not need to be trained. The most important is that you are curious about people, eager to learn and able to take responsibility.

Who are we?

Tagtækkergruppen is part of the Health, Care and Prevention Administration in Odense Municipality. We work with citizens who primarily have physical functional impairments, and we have a strong focus on rehabilitation, quality of life and independence. Our employees consist of unskilled staff, SOSU aides, SOSU assistants, nurses and therapists who collaborate closely on the citizens’ progress.

What will you be doing?

As a weekend relief worker you will be part of a multidisciplinary team, where you can among other things help with:

• Personal care and support
• Practical tasks for the citizen
• Support for rehabilitative activities
• Observation and dialogue with the citizens
• Collaboration with experienced colleagues across disciplines

You will receive thorough introduction and training, so you feel confident in the tasks.

• Can work independently and at the same time be a part of a team
• Can cycle, as we are primarily a cycling group.
